Sunday is not shaping up to be my favorite day ...

I woke up early to take my car in for an oil change. The Bradenton Firestone is the only one in Florida I've been to (after years of good Firestone experiences in Ohio, Michigan and Pittsburgh) that hasn't angered/taken advantage of me, so I've stuck with that one. I haven't needed any "extras" in my last few visits and my car now has 85,800 miles on it, so I wasn't surprised when they told me I needed MORE than an oil change.

I called Tim after finding out it would take another two hours for the nearly $500 of new tires, flushes, changes and new oil pressure sensor they are giving to my car. He picked me up and we've been waiting for the call to tell us it's all set. I finally called almost 3.5 hours after they said TWO HOURS and found out they're still working on it, and they'll call when it's done.

But Tim has to go to work about 45 minutes. And I have a ton of stuff I need to get done in St. Pete today. At this point, I likely won't be able to get to the gym before it closes, and I'm supposed to have a friend come over before I go to a birthday party tonight ... I'm also trying to cook more on the weekends so I have ready-made meals for the week. I have wedding stuff I want to get done, I need to clean the apartment and, in short, this wasn't how Sunday was supposed to go.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
