I'm Kristin. I'm a mom, wife, daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, coworker and friend. I write 99.9% of the blog posts here. I'm aware that most of them are ridiculously long. When I'm not blogging here, I blog recipes and deliciousness over here. *whispers:* I'm 33. I was born in and love all things Pittsburgh, and I grew up in northeast Ohio. I graduated from a public university in northeast Ohio, a place that introduced me to some of the coolest people I'll ever meet. I am close to my family, love my friends and living in Florida - 1,000 miles away from most of these folks - is rough. I do, however, love not having to carry an ice scraper in my car.

I'm crafty and never have enough time to work on all of the crafts floating around in my head. I'm approximately seven years and 180 major life events behind in my scrapbooks. I'm sarcastic. I have very little fashion sense and just like to be comfortable. I like to travel. I love taking photos. I enjoy a good workout. I like to cook and bake. I'm thrifty. I'm not happy unless I'm multi-tasking. Pretty much everything in life stresses me out to some degree. I love spending time with my husband and daughter.

He's Tim. He's the real writer in the family but doesn't feel the need to blog about life and share with the world. Tim graduated from a private college in northwest Ohio. He's 45. Tim moved around a lot after college but lived in the same area code his entire life until he moved to Florida. He loves the Florida heat and could easily live on the golf course, at the beach or in a baseball stadium.

He makes me laugh constantly and is one of the hardest working people I've ever met. He's sarcastic. He's quick-witted. He's intelligent. He's very go-with-the-flow. (You know, my opposite.) He's patient, silly and has a heart of gold. He likes to golf, watch sports and rock out to 80s hair bands. He loves movies. He hates yogurt, soup and pudding. He prefers Pepsi to Coke. If you ever want to know anything about the Cincinnati Reds or Bengals (past or present), Tim is your man.

She's Elle. She's 4 and is quite a dynamic personality. She's a Florida native, loves to travel and scares us with her smarts. She's cute, dramatic and stubborn, and she'll win you over with her charm.

She loves cats, being outside, playing on the iPad, sea creatures, anything spooky or related to Halloween, fruit, fruit snacks, cold pizza and books. She hates being told no.

Elle dazzles us with her smiles, delights us with her laughter and is pretty much the bees' knees. She's encouraged to root for the Cincinnati Reds, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins and has yet to choose a professional basketball team to lend her support to, but there's plenty of time for that.


He's Wesley. He's one. He loves to eat, clap, chase the kitties and is lost without a marker, plastic utensil or toy hammer in his hot little hand. He adores his sister and is pretty pleasant all the time despite not being the best napper ever. He's a big kid and will likely eat us out of house and home, but he's cute and has an infectious laugh, so we'll keep him.

He's too busy for books but would gladly stay in a bath tub splashing for hours. He's never met a piece of fruit he didn't like. He's laid back and flexible but only if you don't try to travel with him.
