My honey on our honeymoon ...

I know this is a bit late, but here are some things I enjoyed about honeymooning with Tim:

By far, my favorite thing about the trip with Tim (and the time since then) has been his increased vocabulary. Among the words he's adopted and their Tim-uses:

* "Da." This means, usually, "Yes."

* "Au revoir." He uses this French word correctly.

* "der Hund." He throws this in (German for "the dog") just to mix his languages up.

* "vamanos." What might usually mean something like "to go" in Spanish Tim uses as a random word. (i.e. Kristin: "Tim, I am going to get a drink. Do you want anything?" Tim: "Vamanos.")

* "Volleyball!" This seemingly normal word is said with an Italian accent to mimic the activities director at the resort. It is usually said loudly and for no apparent reason.

* "PHOTO!" This is similar to "Volleyball!" but is often said in a Mexican or Venezuelan accent and accompanied by "1, 2, 3, PHOTO!" Use of this phrase mocks the entertainment coordinator at the resort. He also led a lot of the theater group's shows.

His knowledge of my need for and enjoyment of every meal and snack we ate.

His willingness to try different drinks at my suggestion. (The favorite of the relatively non-drinker? Vodka Collins.)

His labeling of people we saw on the cruise and at the resort by names of my friends. (At breakfast on the cruise? Teren. With Justin. Only Justin didn’t look like Justin. “Teren” *did* look like Teren. At the resort? Dustin Dow. And his significant other, dubbed Theresa for purposes of the trip, always seemed mad at “Dustin.”) Quite amusing.

I'm sure there are other points that I found endearing. If I remember any of them, I shall share!
