Today's weather is extremely windy, sunny, humid and - at the end of March - 87 degrees. Ugh. Some people may like this weather. I, however, do not. I don't even like it if packaged with an Ohio summer day, let alone a Florida "spring" day. Tim is at a spring training game - and I think he intentionally skipped sunscreen, again - and is probably blowing away at this point.
I was thinking of all of the counties I've lived in - this thought was largely inspired by the fact that I now live in Manatee County, and that's funny to me. (Among others: Washington, Stark, Portage, Allen, Kalamazoo, Allegheny and Pinellas.)
And then I thought of where I grew up, and where my grandparents lived while I was growing up in Pennsylvania. They lived in McDonald and Mars. If I had taken cues for future occupations from those two places, I could have been a farmer, a fast-food worker or an astronaut.
