I had been waiting to receive permission to post this news while family and friends were properly notified. But the news is out - my college roommate/flute choir friend since high school is pregnant! She's also recently engaged - baby is due in October 2009, wedding is due in April or May of 2010, spoiling of baby by Kristin is due immediately. To the left is a photo of Kristine and her fiance, Doug, while they were visiting Kristine's mom in Florida early last year.Also, a friend from Kalamazoo, Tammy, had a baby boy on March 28. Dane Douglas is absolutely adorable.
And after years of looking at stray kitties and not adopting because of restrictions from her landlords, my friend Traci has adopted a little black female kitten. The kitten, yet to be named, is built a lot like Sidney, but I sure hope this one is smarter than Sid ... the kitten was rescued by a Times designer at the park where Tim and I run. Traci first tried to get me to adopt a sister for Mario and Sid, but they are more than enough to handle.
Updates still to come on baseball (spring training is now over for Tim and I) and other minor Florida Wolfrum things. (St. Petersburg is hosting a Grand Prix this weekend, AND we have NCAA tourney games and MLB seasons starting up - so I'm mega busy at work!)
