Happy half-year anniversary to us!!!

It has been six months since we got married (almost exactly, actually). It really doesn't feel like it's been six months. Maybe it's been the transition of living together, paying bills together, grocery shopping together. Maybe it's been all of the name changing, future planning and laundry folding. From the new to the mundane, we've been settling in to our new life together, but it doesn't feel like we've been married all that long!

It really only feels like it's been six months in the respect that we haven't seen most of our family and friends since then :-( And having nearly all of our family and closest friends in the same place, to witness a once in a lifetime event, feels like it happened so long ago, because it was just so wonderful, so fun and so special.

To me, it feels like it's been a million years since we were long-distance dating, although at the time it felt like it had been going on for an eternity. It feels like we moved to Florida 10 years ago instead of almost three. I feel like our engagement and all of the months of wedding planning are a distant memory. But they are all good memories, ones we speak of often and look at pictures and relive and cherish.

We're looking forward to many more milestones and anniversaries :-)

For those wondering about our professional wedding photos (since I'm usually posting photos within days if not hours of something happening), we're still waiting on half of them. It's a LONG, painful, ridiculous story, but we are still waiting on the photos from the ceremony and reception. I have about 800 images from before the ceremony that I have been working to edit. I hope to finish them up in the next few days and will start posting them on Snapfish. Trust me, I am not happy it's six months out and we don't have all of our photos.
