But I did not walk away empty-handed.
I lucked out by being one of the first people to find the maternity clothes. I got a pair of jeans, a pair of shorts and four tank tops for about $20. I also bought a few baby blankets (for a boy or a girl) and several sets of baby clothes, although I must say that most of them will likely be gifts. After the sale, I met Tim (my husband) and Tim (his friend who I promised to mention in the blog) for a delicious breakfast. Tim the Friend has been staying with us for the week while in Florida on business, and his flight left to return home left this afternoon. (Tim the Husband is stuck with me :)) Baby W. hadn't enjoyed the early morning shopping trip on nothing but a granola bar, so it was nice to sit back and enjoy a nice Saturday breakfast.
