How far along? 22 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Well, after my doctor's appointment, I know that I'm up more than I wanted to be ... at our appointment, I was up (full disclosure) seven pounds, but the doctor isn't concerned because my overall gain is still on track. I, however, was not pleased, especially because I had been doing so well.
Maternity clothes? Yup.
Stretch marks? Nothing new.
Best moment this week: Hearing the baby's heartbeat again and having more strangers comment on my pregnancy.
Symptoms: ITCHING. No amount of lotion or cream has helped. Felt sick this morning.
Movement: This baby is STRONG. I gasp sometimes when she kicks me extra low or extra hard, and Tim has felt her a lot, too, even asking "Does that hurt?"
Food cravings: Ice cream, fruit, salad. Nice trio, eh?
Aversions: Chinese food still doesn't sound good to me.
Gender? It's a girl!
Sleep: It's very nice, thank you. I had my first real bout of insomnia the other night. I woke up and for whatever reason could not get back to sleep. Luckily, it was a one-night deal.
What I miss: This isn't really baby-related, but I miss my group exercise classes like Zumba and Spinning. Pregnancy-wise, I could continue to participate in them, but I haven't been impressed with our local Zumba instructors, and the Spinning class I was taking was about 30 minutes away from me and early in the morning. We just changed gyms, and this one is wayyyy cheaper but doesn't offer group exercise classes. There is a Spinning studio that just opened near us, so maybe after the baby comes I'll explore joining there.
What I am looking forward to: Working more on preparing the condo and nursery for baby girl.
Weekly Wisdom: Just say no to Easter candy.
Milestones: Hearing the heartbeat again :)

Listen to your doctor - if s/he says you're on target with your weight, then the doctor is right. So there.

Aww, thanks, Lisa! And yes, I'll have to have a "kicking station" so you guys can feel her while I craft :)
