"She looks just like her daddy."

AHEM. A random post in response to increasing comments that Elle looks like Tim. I'm totally fine with that - I mean, I married the guy, find him to be quite handsome and think we have an absolutely gorgeous daughter. This weekend, a friend of ours met Elle for the first time and immediately said, "Wow, you can't see it so much from the pictures, but when I see her profile, she's definitely Tim's daughter." This friend later dubbed Elle "Baby Tim," which Elle finds hilarious when coupled with raspberries blown on her thighs while she's being held upside down and silly with tiredness. (You know, not that I do any such thing.)

But I have to say, I definitely see some of me and my siblings in Elle, too, and figured I should post these before Elle totally turns in to Tim's Mini-Me and I can't lay claim to her at all anymore :)

I'm the pudgy, stained one on the right, but my brother,
nicknamed "Yogi," is rocking the pacifier here.
I can see a little bit of my brother in Elle.

I think the facial structure
of Doug and Elle is fairly similar.

I don't have any baby photos of Tim, although maybe that should be a mission for this year ...
