Week 19

Baby is the size of a mango.

How far along?
19 weeks!

(19 weeks, 2 days. Belly, belly, belly.)

Total weight gain/loss: I think up a bit, but nothing drastic. I think I'm more belly this week than even last week. Tim commented last night that he'd really noticed a size difference in me just that day, and when he hugged me he said the baby was coming between us - literally. I even felt like my pajamas were suddenly a snugger fit than the day before.

Maternity clothes? Yup. My maternity pants are still a little bit big, so I alternate between pre-pregnancy pants and maternity pants.

Stretch marks? Nope.

Best moment this week: Feeling more baby kicks and movements.

Symptoms: Sciatica. I had problems with this before I got pregnant. Sigh.

Movement: We're both movin' and groovin.'

Food cravings: Fruit (watermelon, pineapple, strawberries).

Aversions: Gravy, mostly because it seems to give me heartburn.

Gender? It's a girl!

Sleep: I'm sleeping pretty well considering I have a cold and get up every 2-3 hours to pee.

What I miss: Being able to take Nyquil. Being pregnant makes being sick quite a challenge.

What I am looking forward to: Continuing to reorganize and plan ... I bought some crafty stuff to make nursery decorations with, and I've been surfing design blogs for inspiration. I'm looking forward to working on those projects, but I kind of need to clear our space first. And I think we're going to start registering next week!

Weekly Wisdom: Always carry Tums.

Milestones: More baby movement! I'm hoping Tim will be able to feel it in the next week or so.
