How far along? 30 weeks.
Maternity clothes? Indeed.
Stretch marks? Nothing new.
Best moment this week: We went on our babymoon! Much fun - there will be a separate post about that one.
Symptoms: Some hip pain, which isn't surprising considering my stellar hip history.
Movement: When I'm lying on my side, I sometimes get the feeling that my daughter is trying to scale my ribcage. I feel clawing. She's also bouncing around a lot more for extended periods of time. At one point when we were driving home from the babymoon, I felt a foot or knee or something hard poking out from near the bottom of my ribcage on my left side. It stayed there for a few seconds before disappearing back in to da belly, but it was really weird and cool. Lots of hiccups still, too. As far as my movement, I got a lot of walking in on the babymoon and have been hitting the gym, too, and had a surprisingly delightful time on the scale at my doctor's appointment this week.
Food cravings: Not much because I haven't really been able to taste anything because of a nasty sinus infection :( I've been enjoying orange juice and lemonade, though.
Aversions: Still strawberry cream cheese.
Gender? It's a girl!
Sleep: Aside from my sinus issues, I've been sleeping well.
What I miss: Well, being able to breathe out of my nose, but that's sinus-related. And running. And wine.
What I am looking forward to: A lot - still our ultrasound in two weeks, my Florida shower, a visit from my mom and brother, working on the nursery (I should have plenty of posts about the nursery coming soon!)
Weekly Wisdom: You never know how much you miss antibiotics until you can't have them.
Milestones: 30 weeks! We start our "every two weeks" doctor visits now, too. And we started our childbirth education classes this week with Prepared Childbirth/Lamaze.

"30 weeks, slightly more educated

You can tell by the slightly "oh crap this thing actually has to come out of me" look in your eye ;) I hear you on the antibiotics too! I have had bronchitis in my third trimester both times and I'm thinking I'm working on my third case right now. I just love going into the doctor and being told what I have and that there's nothing they can give me for it. Many nose breathing vibes coming your way.
Haha - when the instructor asked what we were most concerned about or wanted to learn most about, I said "Can we talk more about how this baby goes through *those* openings?" As a class, we're still processing the whole "birth canal" and "10 cm" thing. I hope the bronchitis stays at bay for you :( I think I might finally be kicking the infection (after 2+ weeks) but still have increased congestion in general. Lovely.
