32 weeks

Baby is still the size of a squash.

How far along? 32 weeks.

(32 weeks.)

Maternity clothes? Yup.

Stretch marks? Nothing new.

Best moment this week: Florida baby shower, ultrasound and family visit :)

Symptoms: Swelling, heartburn, periodic shortness of breath, fatigue and it appears my chest is expanding again, whee.

Movement: She is rolling a lot and it is getting uncomfortable. (Which makes sense considering we found out today I am gestating a near-toddler 4 pound, 7 ounce baybee.) My workouts improved this week from last week (I shaved more than a minute off my elliptical mile time!) but I didn't have as much time to get to the gym.

Food cravings: I'm enjoying yogurt, ice cream, frozen lemonade ... helps with heartburn and the heat.

Aversions: Still strawberry cream cheese.

Gender? It's a girl!

Sleep: Still sleeping well - not uncomfortable but getting up to pee 1-3 times a night.

What I miss: Moving normally. It is getting harder to move around - going up steps and getting off the couch and getting in and out of the car and bending over are big feats these days.

What I am looking forward to: More work on the nursery/other projects around the condo.

Weekly Wisdom: People seem to think you're crazy for working out in the third trimester. These people have not felt the wrath that is my doctor's (or my own!) disappointment in my weight.

Milestones: Ultrasound! (More on that in a separate post.) Buying several items to complete baby's room. Taking the hospital tour (also likely a separate post). Pre-registering to receive an epidural if I choose to during labor.
