Two days ago, Elle discovered that if she scrunched up her nose and breathed really fast, she could make a funny face AND a funny noise.
She hasn't looked back.
It's kind of cool, actually, because now we can HEAR her smile in the other room. She gets pretty excited and does this, which makes me melt ... and she knows it. She did it last night when she wouldn't go to sleep. Do you know how hard it is not to encourage this kind of cute and funny behavior?!
I have no idea where she picked this up, or if it was just an accidental discovery, but I present to you Elle's new trick:
