Enter the "Manny Wig."
Our baseball reporter brought this bag of hair and a bandana in on Friday afternoon. It created quite a headache for the other designer and I, but in the end, we had a photographer take a picture of the wig on a mannequin head and I designed the page with that as the dominant image.
After the pain and suffering the wig had caused us, I decided I wanted to have some fun with it. So I took it home, and the next morning, I put it on my favorite 27-inch model :)
Elle was a great sport, playing with the dreadlocks and eventually pulling off the bandana. At that point, she started to look like a baby Troy Polamalu or Cher. I wish we could have used Elle's modeling photos instead of the mannequin head, but I guess the embarrassment in the privacy of our own home will suffice.
The only real downside in this is that Elle's head smelled like wig for a while after the photo shoot. But really, for the amount of fun we'll get out of these when she's in high school, I think that's a small price to pay :)

| I mean, Manny doesn't have strands of synthetic hair in his face, but other than that, really, Elle totally pulls off the look. |
