Baby is the size of an sweet pea.
How far along? Going with six weeks for now.
Total weight gain/loss: Didn't weigh myself this week, but I would guess I lost a little or maintained.
Maternity clothes? No.
Best moment this week: Being pregnant.
Symptoms: Lack of appetite, fatigue, some nausea, round ligament pain (see below).
Movement: Worked out as many days as I could but want to do more - hopefully after we get back from vacation and work settles down a bit it will be a possibility. Also, alien baby made its presence known big time - I was at work talking to a coworker, and I gasped and bent over because it seriously felt like something was trying to escape my belly. I tried to laugh it off as gas pains, but the coworker seemed really freaked out/concerned/suspicious. Oh, round ligament pain, you're starting earlier and with more vengeance this time ...
Food cravings: Eh.
Aversions: Officially: Coffee
Gender? I'm guessing boy.
Sleep: Still struggling with getting to and staying asleep.
What I miss: Feeling completely normal. Still hoping the nausea stays minimal. I keep getting conflicting reports from other mothers who have had two or more on what their experience was, and so far, nothing sounds super promising, but I keep trying to remind myself that each person, and each pregnancy, are different.
What I am looking forward to: Telling friends and family when
we're in Ohio!
Weekly Wisdom: Symptoms, like RLP and nausea, are a reassuring thing.
Milestones: Being pregnant!
