How far along? 16 weeks.
Maternity clothes? Nope.
Best moment this week: More movement from the Bean! Lots of little taps and a few sturdy rolls.
Symptoms: Still the nausea. Lots of needing to pee when working out, sleeping, breathing, etc. Some shortness of breath. Round ligament pain. Some weird eye thing that I think is pregnancy-related - I wake up with a crusty eye, and then it's red and kind of dry for the rest of the day. Fun stuff, these hormones.
Movement: I had a really good run/walk last weekend, but I hadn't really drank enough water and I felt sick for the rest of the day. Hoping to get some more good workouts in and hydrate appropriately, though! Baby is active - I can't wait to start feeling kicks on the outside, too.
Food cravings: Candy. Diet Coke. Grapes. Animal crackers. Snacky foods. This chicken recipe that my mom makes - the recipe is similar to this one here ... she mentioned it last week and I went out the next day to get the ingredients.
Aversions: Almost everything?
Gender? Boy.
Sleep: Waking up a lot ... I hear Tim come home, Elle wakes up, I have to go to the bathroom, etc. Thankfully I'm falling back asleep pretty easily. On Thursday I fell asleep right after I put Elle to bed and slept like a rock (a rock that wakes up three times when the previously mentioned things all happened on the same night) for almost 10 hours. It felt amazing.
What I miss: Not being an emotional spaz. There have been several sob fests this week.
What I am looking forward to: Finding out the gender in less than two weeks! My mom visiting! Gender reveal par-tay!
Weekly Wisdom: Treasure every moment.
Milestones: Nothing that I can recall. Quiet week on the milestone front.
My pregnancy with Elle - week 16 update here.
