Week 20 update

Baby is the size of a mango.

How far along? 20 weeks.

Total weight gain/loss: Up another pound, maybe? About 3-4 pounds above my pre-pregnancy weight.

Maternity clothes? Still a mix of both.

Best moment this week: Tim felt the baby kick :) It was the day after the 20-week mark, and I was being lazy before waking up for the day when I realized Wesley was awake, too. I had Tim feel my belly and flipped on my back (a position Wesley always protests), and Tim soon exclaimed "He kicked me!" He felt him again that night, too.

Symptoms: Sciatic pain.

Movement: Average movement from both the baby and I.

Food cravings: Ice cream. Fruit (apples, grapes, bananas, strawberries, mostly).

Aversions: Lots of dairy does not appear to agree with me. Lots of tomato sauce also does not agree with me. Unfortunately, I had pizza and chicken parm (and then leftovers) this week, so I got lots of experience with my body disagreeing with my meal choices.

Gender? IT'S A BOY!

Sleep: Never feels like enough.

What I miss: The option of sleeping on my stomach.

What I am looking forward to: Transitioning Elle to a big girl bed and packing the crib away from a few months.

Weekly Wisdom: Sciatic pain is NO JOKE.

Milestones: Halfway through the pregnancy!
