Blog friends, reunited

Elle and I were super excited to meet up with my blog friend Genevieve last month when she was vacationing near us with her adorable (and recently expanded!) family. We got to meet Genevieve and Parker last year, when Genevieve was pregnant with Flynn, and this year, we got to meet Flynn (and Genevieve's husband, Lucas), and *I* was the pregnant one. We decided that next year (since neither of us plan on being pregnant), we'll hit the town and go out for drinks :)

Elle was excited to see Parker again - I always show her Instagram photos of Parker and Flynn, and she knew that she was going to get to play with her friend Parker, so she was pumped. Genevieve and I had been texting/e-mailing about the meet up for months, so we were pumped, too :) We met at the condo that Genevieve's family stays at and had lunch and playtime. They had been on vacation for over a week at that point, and Genevieve's recaps and vacation photos show that they had a great balance of fun and relaxation while in Florida :)

It was crazy to see how much bigger the kids had gotten in the last year and the differences in how they interacted and communicated.

I kept telling Elle that soon she'll have a little brother just like Flynn. She seemed unimpressed.
