Week 40 update

Baby is still the size of a WATERMELON.

How far along? 40 weeks. Really didn't think I'd make it past 39.5, sigh. Don't let this smile fool you, either - I'm miserable.

Total weight gain/loss: Bleh.

Maternity clothes? Bleh.

Best moment this week: Nearing the definite end.

Symptoms:
Poor circulation in my arms/hands (like, whenever I sleep my arms go numb and I can't grip things). Anixety. Extremely bad mood. Low energy. Restless legs. Cramps. Intense lower back pain. Trouble sleeping.

Movement:
The back pain got the best of me. I was not very active at all, and any activity felt ridiculously monumental.

Food cravings:
Bleh.

Aversions:
I would like to avoid being massively pregnant.

Gender?
IT'S A BOY!

Sleep:
Terrible. I can't nap for stretches longer than 15 minutes and the numbness in my body is so painful that sleep isn't comforting at all. I'm also up to pee quite a bit. This all means that I'm not sleeping much or well at all.

What I miss:
Not being so cranky. Not worrying about being induced. Not thinking about how big my baby is going to be by the time I'm induced. Not worrying about the possibility of needing a c-section or having a super long labor.

What I am looking forward to:
Having this baby and not being pregnant anymore!

Weekly Wisdom:
Previous pregnancy and delivery experience/expectations mean NOTHING.

Milestones:
So close to being done.
