Our baby meows.

So Elle's had a pretty steady verbal development going on. We started with "Baby" and "Dada." The current tally (for ye olde baby book because Tim and I are starting to forget) is as follows:

Baby
Dada
Hi
Mama
Bye
Kitty (kee kee)
Eye
No (Naw)
Giggle
Meow

Yes, she meows. It doesn't always sound exactly like an enunciated "meow," but it definitely sounds like the noises Mario and Sid make. And she does it in response to them - Sid was walking along the crib rail the other day and meowed. Elle meowed back. I made the meowing noise to her later, and she did the same thing.

My daughter is a cat.

"Naw."
