Tim and I were grocery shopping today and in the checkout lane when this random conversation occurred:
Tim: "Hon, I'm worried that you think you want to have a baby but you're just going to get sick of it. Then I'll have to take care of it because you'll be bored with it."
Kristin: *stares*
Tim: "And I'll have to feed and water it."
Yes, ladies and gentlemen. This is the man I married. One in the same with the one who has said he has no use for babies until they can talk. (Although since he seems to get along well with the cats and they don't talk, so I think there is progress on that front.)
ROTFLMAO. I just spit coffee all over the place. (But not through my nose, mind you.)
ReplyDeleteHe's very serious about this. It's ridiculous. And even though he claims he'll have no use for a kid until it talks (I'm guessing that he'll still trying to teach it bad tricks like he has the cats, like opening the door), I told him he can find them useless as long as he still feeds/changes the non-speaker.
