How far along? 21 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Up about 3 pounds.
Maternity clothes? Most days.
Stretch marks? Nope.
Best moment this week: Having a stranger ask me if it was a boy or a girl - that means I actually looked pregnant! (It should be noted that he asked me if I was pregnant first - and the entire conversation took place with him speaking Spanish and pointing to my stomach a lot, but we got "pregnant?" and "boy or girl?" out of it.) And Tim feeling a series of really hard kicks last night. Tim said "That feels weird!" It feels unbelievably odd to feel the kicks and movements, especially when you're feeling them inside and outside.
Symptoms: Heartburn
Movement: I love doing Pilates and can totally tell the difference when I've missed a few days. Elle is getting stronger and kicking harder. She needs to start doing yoga in there instead of kick-boxing.
Food cravings: Cereal, like cereal I ate when I wasin high school a kid. Salads. Pizza.
Aversions: I think I went a whole week without a Filet-O-Fish sandwich, so I guess I averted them?
Gender? It's a girl!
Sleep: I was swamped with work, work, work, preparing for a yard sale and class, so I did not get as much sleep as I wanted this week.
What I miss: Caffeine. I'm at a point where I could really go for a Diet Coke every day and miss brewing coffee in the morning. I know I could make decaf, but I just haven't done it. I also keep stumbling over my "pregnafied" Starbucks order - I used to know exactly what I wanted and now I don't get the sugar-free version and add "decaf" to the order.
What I am looking forward to: We have another doctor's appointment next week!
Weekly Wisdom: Don't sweat the small stuff.
Milestones: I'm finally making progress on reorganizing the condo and storage unit. I got a ton of clothes from a friend who had a baby girl in December, and now I'm itching to get the nursery started so I can start putting stuff away!
