When Daddy's away ...

... Elle gets to play :)

I have several lengthy, deep (well, some of them) posts half-finished right now, but I love sharing photos of Elle.

Tim is at a concert tonight with his friend Jay. We had planned on having our normal sitter watch Elle while Tim rocked on and I was at work, but then Jay's wife, Jen, volunteered to watch Elle and get some quality baby time.

Our easy going girl is used to Mommy, Daddy or the sitter watching her at home. But tonight, Little Miss Adaptable is partying with Jen at Jen's house. Jen shared some photos of the happy princess:

And although Elle has met Jen and Jay's dog, Roxie, before, that was in a party atmosphere with two other babies. Roxie didn't know what to do with all of the new, little people and basically tried to lick each baby to pieces. Elle got quite a bath of doggy love that day. Today, though, some one-on-one interaction:
