The one on the left was taken when Elle was 10 days old. We went to our favorite local aquarium with my mom and brother, who were visiting the newborn arrival.
The one on the right was taken on Thanksgiving Day of this year. Elle was a little less than a week shy of her 16 month mark.
The months between the two photos are full of milestones, cuddles, tears, trips, transitions and personality.
Whoa/sigh - my baby is growing up so fast/my baby is growing up so fast.
so crazy! time really, really flies. i miss that curled up newborn stage!
ReplyDeleteI know. It can literally be breathtaking. But you are doing all the right things... enjoying every moment - taking pictures - but not so many that you miss the moment (I had to learn that one...) You will look back at every step of the journey, miss what she was, but love what she is. I promise - it will be ok. ;-) (U had to learn that one, too...) (hug)
