Week 31 update

Baby is STILL the size of a squash.

How far along? 31 weeks.

Total weight gain/loss: Stayed very steady this week, and hopefully that stays the same for my doctor's appointment next week :). I was even down a few ounces early in the week ... I think the fact that so much gives me indigestion plus the heat plus Wesley's size plus my cravings for fruit have helped keep my weight gain in check - hope it lasts!

Maternity clothes? I have one pair of shorts I could live in (and I do, on nights and weekends).

Best moment this week: Extra family time on Memorial Day!

Symptoms: Heartburn/indigestion/nausea. Not sleeping well.

Movement: I think I only had two or three workouts this week, but I think the emphasis this week was more on quality than quantity, and I pushed my heart rate/distance on my workouts this week. Wesley is kickboxing his heart out.

Food cravings: Fruit. Lots of it. Ice cream. Lots of it. (Balance, right?)

Aversions: Cereal, baked goods, oatmeal. They all seem to give me heartburn. The only thing I think I've been able to eat for breakfast without issue has been pancakes. Odd, but I'll take it.

Gender? IT'S A BOY!

Sleep: Not sleeping well at all ... I'm having a hard time getting to sleep and sleeping deeply for long stretches. I'm not even waking that often to get up and go to the bathroom, I'm just waking up a lot. My belly is so big that it's hard to get comfortable, too.

What I miss: Having more than a handful of outfits that feel like they fit.

What I am looking forward to: Wrapping up some projects and organizing. I feel like everything takes a ridiculous amount of time and energy to finish these days, but I'm trying to chip away at everything as I can.

Weekly Wisdom: Rest as much as possible.

Milestones: Our last holiday weekend as a family of three!
